I tried on my mom's old clubbing clothes

Jul 10, 2023

A COMEDIAN has discovered her mom's vintage clubbing clothes and people were shocked by how "cool" her mom was.

She tried on the going-out dresses, which raked in compliments from viewers and fans.

Reagan Oxman (@reagan_oxman) shared the try-on video with her TikTok followers.

The lucky daughter showed off a box of clothing that belonged to her mother from the 90s and 2000s that had since been passed down to her.

She explained that her parents used to go "clubbing every weekend" and her mom just had the right outfits styled for the occasion.

Reagan donned a leather off-the-shoulder dress that hit her at fingertip-length and featured tie detailing at the sleeves and bust.

She fell in love instantly and quickly made plans to wear it more often: "10/10, I'm going to wear this everywhere," she said.

Next was a shiny pleather halter dress that she found stylish but there was just one problem: "7/10, cute but my butt is hanging out," she said, turning around to show off how short the skirt was.

A black satin dress had a similar problem to the point where Reagan had to censor most of her body: "7/10, see-through but cute," she said.

The haul wasn't all bust as she tried on another black dress with criss-cross details on the chest, which she paired with a pleather jacket: "8/10, cute casual dress, the jacket is okay," she noted.

Taking the jacket off, she added a cropped pink pleather zip-up over the dress for an experimental pop of color, although she wasn't pleased with the look.

"4/10, giving me very much middle school cheerleader," she quipped.

All in all, Reagan was grateful to her mom for the new additions to her wardrobe: "Thanks for the clothes Mom," she said.

People praised her mother for a fashion sense that was way ahead of her time: "Why is your mom's style so good?" asked one admirer.

Others begged for a mom reveal after seeing the cool clothing: "Okay I want to see your mom now," requested another.
